Heya, it's been a minute, hasn't it? Haven't posted any logs for a while.

My bad, but I managed to gather enough content to compile into another dev log. Development is still going pretty strong, got a few other things i may as well share for now.

So, first, I would like to bring out some news to show.

Pico is almost completely finished! We just need to do some other things before we show some of him off.

Here's one of the latest animations done.

In other news, we have made the decision to make our next alpha character to be Hank, as he has more progress for him done than everyone else, I figured why not.

First of all, we recolored Hank's default to be more consistent with his current original design, but we kept the red design as a alt color for all you Rank fans out there.

I've also tweaked his idle animation a bit too.

Well, I don't have a lot to share as I wanted most of them to be a surprise, but I do have one more thing I want to add before I go,

This game used to be called Newgrounds Rumble Petit, and Project NG was the working title, however I liked Project NG a lot more so the name was stuck, here's the old logo.

Sweet upper cut animation for Pico, a nice reference to his upper cut he did in Pico Unloaded.

Hank alts colors look incredible. If I were to figure out the references:
First alt is his default appearance, second alt is original (Rank), third alt is either a reference to his early appearance in Madness Combat as a grunt or a reference to White Hank/Wank, fourth alt is a reference to The Auditor, fifth alt is a reference to where Hank is depicted in darker colors in some fanart, and his sixth alt is [probably] original (Bank).

As for the game name, here is a piece of trivia. Newgrounds Rumble wasn't originally going to have the name Rumble but instead it was called "Newgrounds Brawlers" and the name wasn't change until late into the game development but you can still see the name "Brawlers" at the into of each battle. It's unknown as to why the name was changed to Newgrounds Rumble but a possible reason as to why the name was change was because of Super Smash Bros Brawl having the name Brawl in the title which cause the name to be change to distance themselves to Smash Bros. This info isn't 100% confirmed but I found it when digging through the wayback machine and I found a old wiki for Newgrounds Rumble. If I were to make some fan names for Project NG it would be:
